Default 1200Km To A Tank Of Gas!

Hi there everybody I just want to send out a message to all saying that, if you have low MPG or L/100Km take your truck into FORD to get your oil pressure sensor and pump checked out. I just received a warranted replacement of a oil sensor and am now achieving over 1100Km to a tank of 136 L of fuel! Before this operation I was averaging MAYBE 700Km! Something is up!!

*ONLY applicable for 5.0L V8's only....I think.........

Hopefully I don't get killed for saying this.... haha

Tell yeah what I'll document my next fuel fill-up just for you and scan my receipts and take photos of my mileage.

And by the way it's 26 US. Liquid MPG.

That believe it or not only 3MPG over the 23MPG it's rated for.

I wish my 4.6 got that, 3/4 of a tank (136L tank) won't get me half of that. Granted my truck is 3 years older and i have over sized tires, and i'm pretty lead footed. lol

Okay I'm an idiot. My calculations were way off. I think yours might be with the conversion too. It looks like US 19MPG.

1100KM*0.62137M= 683.508M
136L=US 36GAL
683.508M/ 36G = 18.98MPG

So your 1100km per tank is probably correct.

sounds more reasonable.

yeah I've got the smaller tank and can get 850-900 km to a tank so the math seems correct to me
