Thanks dude. I hate when people automagically turn my threads into off track nonsense. I love watching these regardless of engine. We all drive 150's and in my opinion share a common bond in that. There are others that don't quite see it that way. A little poke at others engines is fine in my eyes but some people take offense. Especially the V6 owners .

Just watched that again and it looks like you nail it right about 5 sec..... you're at 100 mph right at 18 sec!

That's a genuine 13 seconds to 100 mph from a dead stop! This is a 13 sec quarter mile truck for sure.....

how close is your nearest track?

I've timed it several times and come up with 5.2-5.5...fast! The hundred mark looks like 13.5 or so. It may be a tick quicker to 100. It was kind of slow to upshift out of third at 95-98 before it shifted and took off again. I should have shifted in manually. I actually started off in 4X4 high with about 4 PSI of boost. I switched to 4X2 after the 1-2 shift. If I hadn't started in 4X4 it would bark the tires on the upshift. I actually have an 1/8th mile track less than 10 minutes away. The 1/4 mile is 30 minutes away.

The Bullydog timer shows a 0-100KPH of 5.75 consistently. Not sure why it insists on metric when it's not set on metric.

A bit of irony, your 4x4 is clocking almost the same as a stock 69' 428 SCJ in a Mustang!

YUP!! Mine has a best of 13.04 on 10" slicks. Bone stock with 4:30 gears. A sweet tune with better ignition may yield another 1/2 second, but I'm not messing with it!

Beautiful car. I would gladly take it for a ride if it needs driven.

It's the slow one! This one has run a 11.21 on 10" slicks. 347 Jack Roush short block. Absolutely bulletproof running 8 PSI of boost through an AOD of all things...out to a 9" housing 3.70 gears. Its a sleeper with AC...built it for my wife. 555 HP to the rear wheels without the NOS...never even filled the tank. It's more for show although the motor would put up with it.

Beautiful! I had a red one, but it only had the 351W. I feel the 69 Machs are one of the most intimidating looking cars of all time and definitely one I'd like to own again.

Mine with the old truck. Swapped in boss 302 crate. Hoping to get boost next year. Now 300 HP at the tires. I like your 69 a lot more looks wise.

Back on topic. Truck is haulin.
