Unfortunately, AVS is not what they used to be. The in-channels are now very thin, flimsy, and the "wing" area is too small. Weathertech is much more sturdy and the "wing" area is larger.

Got the in-channel on now, but one side warped before I ever even drove with them on. Gonna call AVS in the morning and see about swapping for the stick ons. Those of you with the stick ons, did you add any silicone or just go natural?

I have the AVS stick-ons. I just followed the directions - cleaned the surface w/ alcohol prior to attaching, and they stick very well. Be sure to pull off a small part of the red tape covering the sticky side, then apply to the truck, and then pull the rest of the red tape off as you position the visor where you want it. Then press hard all along the edge and, voila! Great visor. I've only had these since February, but they don't seem to want to come off and I've never even thought about them. Good luck!

I have Putco in channels and they have been fine. No issues whatsoever.

Cool, let us know how they worked out for you. As I wrote, I've had my AVS low-profile stick ons since February and no issues so far.

Ive got the AVS stick on ones now for 6 months no issues so far and look good. I think they also have a low profile version as well.
