Default Window Vent Visors: Stick-on vs. In-channel?

Looking into getting a set of AVS window vent visors. Do you guys prefer the stick-on or in-channel? From my research it seems like stick-on is prefered because of ease of installation and they don't cause any problems with the windows rolling up. Any input before I order a pair?

I spoke w a rep from weathertech. Said they are currently designing in channel visors for our new fords with the window safety feature. She couldnt give me the details off hand, but said they were focused on preventing the auto stop on our windows. Hopefully they come out soon. Big fan of weathertech products.

I have the AVS in channel. They work great, no problems. 15 minutes of easy install.

I have had problems with my avs just installed them this week. I'm going to see if they get better as the window channel molds to it.

In channel or bust, they look a ton better than the others, and will last longer as the seal isn't out in the elements.

It depends on the year of the truck
If it a 2011 then use the stick on as there are problems with the in channel and the safety stop on the window
If earlier than that then I would go with the inchannel as the look much better and seem to last longer
Cheers
Andy
PS I have a 2011 Reg cab and bought a set of AVS In channel from a local supplier
When I installed they would not work at all. I contacted AVS and they sent me a set of stickon and did not even make me return old set
They said to give to somebody that has a truck they work on
Great service from AVS

I have the stick on type on my 99 f150, installed them when I bought in jan 99. Never had any issues, still stuck on solid and my truck does not get parked in a garge, so it has been almost 13 years in the weather.
