Default WeatherTech Mats

Any tips for getting the WeatherTech mats to fit nice and snug? Just got them put in yesterday and the edges are all curled in. I'm sure they'll relax eventually, but does anyone have a quick fix to get it there faster?

Ive read others using a heat gun to get the edges to relax. I used industrial velcro which is nice because then they don't shift around-a little tedious getting them out though.

Thanks JohnnyC. Can you just use the hook side of the Velcro, attached under the mats, to hook to the carpet? Or is it necessary to use both sides?

Which ones did you get?

I got the laser-measured whatever ones, the passenger side just sits in place, the driver side snaps into the 2 pegs that the factory carpet mat snaps in to.

Both sides wrap up around 3" up the sides and they don't move around at all.

EDIT - THESE ones

This is how the 2nd row is looking in my truck vs WeatherTech stock photo. I know stock photos are always PERFECT, but I want to get as close to it as possible. And don't mind my dirty floor. It's been raining or wet in North Texas since I got my truck last weekend. When I get a sunny day, I'll get it clean and get good photos.

That 2nd row is exactly what my WT mats looked like when I took them out of the box, and exactly why I exchanged them for Husky X-Acts

Looks like your back mat is slid forward just a hair. That's where the idustrial velcro would come in handy.

I have Weathertechs in my Screw. Edges laid down after about a day in the truck and seams look just like their photos. I did get the over the hump mat in the front though.

I just put WT liners in my Screw and the rear mat fits great but the front seems just a millimeter or two off. I laid them in the sun for about an hour to heat/loosen them up. I also used a eat gun to relax them a little once in the truck.

I had WT liners in my old 2001 Silverado and the front mats fits great while the rear mat was just a little off. Yes, they should fit correctly but keep in mind, in those photos they take for advertising purposes, those things are probably glued down and such.

@ChrisJr - your rear mat does not look like it fits. I would return it for another one. Put a discrete mark on it somewhere so you can verify that the "new" one they send you isn't just the old one.
