Default WaterPORT Fresh Water Systems

Howdy y'all!

I've been looking into the waterPORT products and was curious if anyone has any experience with them?

Seems like it would be extremely helpful in really any application. They claim it pressurizes from your waterhose, or a bike pump if a pressurized source isn't available (i.e. bottled water). I'm interested in a frame mount one, that way it isn't baking in the sun and getting hot. Plus, they're reasonably priced. The frame mount one is $160.

That's interesting. What would it be used for?

Really anything that you'd need water for, where there isn't readily a water source! I would think rinsing gear, rinsing at the beach, heck you could even shower with it if you're in the middle of nowhere.

I looked at the frame mount one and asked them about it. They said it won't work on the f150 because it's a box frame. I want one but really don't want to put it in the bed. Awesome product and this will solve my issue at beach about how to rinse dogs off and having fresh water

Yeah, I got the same response. I've looked at buying the tank without a mount and trying to fabricate a way to attach it. I really don't want the hitch mount or a bed mount. Plus being under the truck it won't be baking and getting hot in the sun.

5 showers out of 3.3 gallons? Do you even get wet?

Yeah I thought the same. Lol. No way I'm taking 5 showers out of 3.3 gallons. I could get 2-3 though. Took a "shower" during a water crisis with bottled water, used a liter and a half.

Great until it freezes and splits open. seems like an expensive answer to a problem that is easily solved with a couple of gallons of bottled water which I always carry being a desert dweller.
