Default Undercover Swing Case Toolbox/Extang Trifold Solid 2.0

Does anybody know why the toolbox is not compatible with the Extang bedcover? I'm thinking it's due to the rear latches not allowing the toolbox to snap closed, if so could you use spacers under the brackets where it attaches to my truck, so that it allowed more room for the bedcover rear latch. I understand I would then need longer screws to attach the brackets, but I don't think that would be much trouble. Thanks for any help.

The issue is more that it will be difficult at best to latch the cover with the Swingcase in place. The rear latch for the Solid Fold will be behind the Swingcase meaning with the case there you won't be able to latch the cover.
