Default Ultra Gauge Review?

Does anybody have the Ultra Gauge? What do you think about it?

I am looking into getting either the ultra gauge or the scan gauge, im wondering if the ultra gauge can do everything the scan gauge does, while still being $100 less.

Okay, if any one is looking at the Ultra Gauge, I would deffiently recommend you buying it. I bought mine with the window mount for about $80. Money well spent. This gauge just plugs into the obd2 port and it starts working. You can have the gauge scrolling, going through different pages. You can have up to 8 gauges on the screen at the time. There is about 50 different gauges to choose from, such as RPM, MPG, MPH, Horsepower, Torque, Temp. It can clear the engine codes so the check engine light doesn't come on. It also has alarms that go off that you can program, like if you do not want to hit 4000 RPM, set the alarm and it will let you know when you are getting close to it. The only downside to this item that I have is that you can not reprogram it for larger tires like the Scan Gauge can. But overall im am very pleased with it.

Thanks for the review. A friend of mine just got one but hasn't installed it yet, I sure wish he would!

I'd like to get an Edge dash pod and mount the Ultragage in it.

I ordered it at http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/index.htm
I think it was a great investment, it can show your current mpg, it really helps me keep my foot off the gas when I see it hit 4 mpg.

Correction* I found out that you can besically reprogram it for larger tires. You can change the trip meter, it ask you what you want to change it to, and all you have to do is put in (this is a random number) But 1.22, which means for every miles the gauge says, you actually traveled 1.22 miles. Sorry if that sounds confusing

But now that I found out about this, I have absolutely no complaints about the UltraGauge!

If you have an EcoBoost you can program the UltraGauge to display a boost gauge. It's in the docs. I have reprogrammed the first screen to show Voltage and Boost.
