I'm running the Hypertech max energy, and the only reason its still in my truck is because the module is broken and can't remove the program. After i have ford flash my computer i was thinking bout checkin out the edge

Default Edge Evolution 05 FX4

Hey guys,
Alright I'm looking into getting edge evo for my 05 F150 FX4 and am kinda hesitant on the whole tranny thing... is it bad for it? the truck has about 60,000 miles and run awesome and oil changed every 3,000 but i don't need huge power but wouldn't hurt just looking to help a bit out on gas and have the opportunity to beef it up a little if i need.. am i going to be satisfied with the edge?

you are better off with the Xcal2/3 and getting it custom tuned. The transmission settings are much more indepth with SCT software than any of the other programs.
