By no means am I an expert with tunes, but ,SO FAR what I have found is
YES a heavy foot gives you worse MPG
Normal driveing I get @16.5mpg
heavy foot =@15mpg
91 oct tune with a heavy foot I'm getting 14mpg
But keep in mind ,
I just got the tune and the power is incredible so Iv been doing alot of punching it and WOT
Also learning how to DATA LOG so it's been alot of pedal to the medal.
I'll be filling up in the next day or 2 so Ill start dr,iveing normal again and
hopfully will see better MPG

Franchi I have a 98 f150 4.6 and I'm lookin into getting a tuner in the future. I'm planning on running one of the tunes already installed on the tuner for a while before I get into the custom ones. which tuner would you recommend?
i like how the edge has the meters but my buddy runs sct but he had to buy all his gauges which sucks in a way but looks good but im not trying to drop 1k for all of that. and ive herd of a gryphon which is something like edge right???

depends in which SCT you get. The Sct livewire ts 5015 can monitor all your guages in one unit and waaaay less then $1000.
