just a little random bit of info for those of you who don't know, superchips are made by edge and are virtually the same product, the edge just allow for a dash mount and info monitor

 

I have an 2007 supercab 4x4 4.6 v8. I have the gotts mod with a k&n filter, cut the muffler and dumped the exhaust, and got an edge cs the other day off craigslist.com for $200. And I love my truck now!!!! I run the edge on level 3 with regular gas in it and when driving to the deer feeder I have to lightly press the gas pedal or I'll be going 20mph and hitting the bumps and hole way to hard. And on the roads it made a hell of a difference. It will spin both tires with ease if I stomp on it. And with my old bully dog power pup I was getting 13mpg and could hardly do a brake stand and if I did the tire spun SLOW now I get around 19-20mpg and can smoke the tires all night long if tire were free. Also if I'm going 70mph I can lightly put pressure on the gas pedal and be doing 80mph in no time.

Stop doing that right now! Level 3 is for Premium Fuel only! You're going to f*ck your motor up by running level 3 on regular gas. Did you not read the disclaimer before switching levels???

 

^^^ yes I read it but I have to use all the gas before I can fill it up with supreme fuel.

 

so run level 2 first! Sh*t son... You don't HAVE to run level 3 right now. Its actually recommended that you run 1 tank of premium BEFORE running level 3 to make sure that your at the proper octane rating and that the 87 hasn't diluted it down.

 

i heard running it on that level with 87 octane won't hurt the truck, you just won't notice any performance gains
