I love my Edge and hate driving anything stock. Not just for the little extra power, but the shifting is way better and mpg is up a little bit.
You shoulda found your CS in the classifieds, I got my Edge for $200 shipped... about 50% of a new one at the time.

NOT worth $400+, I would say they should be worth $150 or less.
Hey! On a serious note, I am planning to purchase one of these and was wondering about something. If you don't get any satisfaction with the customer service people, I will buy it from you. I will send you a PM with my info if you are interested. I hope that you get your refund, but if not, I would be willing to give you some of your money back.

Just a thought! PM me back and let me know!

You bought a canned programmer. I used the Edge previously and did notice an improvement. But I switched to custom tuning from Troyer, it is beyond worth it. Transmission is much better, firmer. No throttle lag...you hit the gas, you get instant torque. As far as power, while I do have a few extra bolts on, I netted just about 50rwhp on my truck on stock tires before I lifted it on the premium performance tune. I wish I could find my dyno sheets.

Did Troyer Tune your Edge or did you just get an SCT?

i definitely wish i could try the custom tunes, but money is tight right now and that is the main reason i am returning it. if money wasn't such a problem i wouldn't have any problem with keeping it and trying custom tunes

I just bought a 2004 FX4 5.4L with a 133k. I was thinking of getting a programmer for a lil more get up and go! What would you guys say has been the best one you tried?

go with anything compatible with custom tunes. not speaking from experience, just speaking from everyone else i've heard from about them.

an SCT tuned by Mike at 5 Star Tuning or an Edge(Gryphon) custom tuned by Bill at Power Hungry Performance.

Sold the Edge, bought a used Xcal2 for $150 and 3 tunes from Troyer for $150. So I netted money AND horsepower on the swap.
