If your talking about the Edge its only $350 New

Nobody gets the CS or CTS, and from what I've seen those models let you control less parameters.

Even if its the cheaper model, the generic stuff that Edge does is garbage. Sadly, it doesnt matter how many times some of the basic stuff is warned about....the "cool" mount and display sell. A naturally aspirated tune shouldnt require three stages, its either done right or its not. The only difference is an octane requirement. There should be one transmission setting, a tune shouldnt cause shudder or OD lock up issues, these are indicators of improper trans settings and Ill bet my truck that those settings arent raising line pressure ONLY at the point of shift, but across the spectrum. But, hell, its "only" $350 and you get a cool display.

Huh I've never heard of those issues. But yes custom tunes will always be better, they are made for every add-on you have put on the vehicle so of course they will reep greater numbers compared to ALL canned tunes. For canned tunes though, I think they do a pretty good job at making a generic tune to work for every F150.

i just got my edge installed today right off the bat noticed a difference, power difference and mpg difference...i still gotta mess with the custom settings...the only thing i dont like so far is how hard the 1st to 2nd shift is...i know i can adjust that, also my steering feels a little more sluggish...might just be in my head though..anyone else notice this or have any tips on how to adjust things?

Definately go down on the shift firmness for 1-2 then. And the steering is in your head as there is no possible way for it to effect that. Hope you enjoy it!

Go +7 on your shifts to firm them up. typing - numbers will make them softer...

i want the 1st-2nd shift softer thats what i meant, sorry at WOT its a little too rough and im worried its gonna do some damage to my tranny but ive got things more dialed in now and wow is all i can say i love it, im at -6 on the 1st-2nd shift and its just about perfect, i might firm it up a little bit, i have gained 5.3 mpg from the edge alone not to mention the power and the acceleration, this is gonna pay for itself quick!! my truck is the fx4, has larger tires, 3" level and 1400 pounds of extra weight in it that is in there at all times and i still have a 7.6 0-60 time with the edge, pretty impressive if you ask me...im very happy..wish i would have bought it a long time ago

Not to be rude but are you getting your MPG from the Edge's "calculated" average mpg? 5.3mpg by just adding the Edge is not gonna happen... most anyone usually sees is 1-2 real mpg and most get less cause their foots in it more!
