Gas mileage has increased to 15.5 mpg. I'm pleased with the Airaid Intake but not certain the Hypertech was worth the purchase. I now have 3,500 miles on the truck and ready to reset the computer back to the orignal setting. From the reviews posted on this site may look at another manufacture other than Hypertech.

Just bought an gryphon(edge evolution) from PHP. Good people to work with, fast and give a good product. I love the tuner. It looks nice sitting on the dash and allows you to look at a ton of different readings(4 at a time). Very cool. Plus you can write your own tunes for tires, etc and use it to check/pull codes. I have only used it on the transmission only tune(haven't gotten my custom tunes yet) but I can feel a huge difference in how the power is applied and how the tranny shifts! Amazing!

I purchased a diablo sports granetelli tuner, now heres where i am getting pissed. I hooked it up to the diagnostics port and it scanned my truck (2007 f150 4.6L), upon completion on stock settings it said that i had to update the program to work for the 07. Well now email granetelli and they say they have broken there ties with diablos sports and i would have to call diablo; so i do and they say that there is nothing they can do via the internet for updates and that i would have to have the company from which i ordered the tuner ship it back and they would give me another (apparently i'm not the only one this has happened to). Well a month later after beeing dicked around i get it back and when i hook it up it goes thru the process of 1. put key in off position 2. key in on position 3. select tune (stock, aftermarket) 4. select vehicle (04+ f150) 5. it sates next to press enter to begin the process but it just restarts the slection process over and over again; after further review the fudge nuts sent me the same tuner back. I dont know wtf is happen'n and the guy at the shop i ordered it from is perplexed as well.

Sorry if this has already been answered...

Does using a tuner create any problems with the warranty?

I just completed a 1800 trip to the Black Hills and averaged about 17 mpg the whole trip using the edge evolution on mode 2 (towing).
The only problem I encountered was with 87 or 89 octane with 10% ethanol added. When I used that, the mileage dropped like a rock to about 14.5 mpg.
Best results were with 87 octane, pure gas - no ethanol.

Highway speeds were 75 mph for most of the trip and included the climb and descent to / from Mount Rushmore and Needles Highway. Going up sucked, literally, but was made up on the 1st & 2nd gear descent.

On the way back east, between Rapid City & Sioux Falls, with a minor tailwind, the mpg went up to 20.6, which I've never seen before. Must have been a gradual descent over many miles.

well i just put a K&n intake and a hypertech power programmerIII at the same time. unfortunately the only thing i noticed was a little better shifts. kinda dissapointed as the only thing i could do was the engine tuning and shifting with the programmer. no rev limiter no top speed no nothin im assuming because its a 97 but whatever the price i paid for both (used) was worth the better shifting, as that was my biggest gripe on this truck.
