Hi guys, I'm about ready to take the plunge for my first tune on my 2016 3.5L Ecoboost (soon to be EcoBEAST!). I'm trying to read as much as I can but it can get kinda overwhelming. I have a few questions.
Has anyone had significant failures as a result of a tune? If so how was it handled, i.e. did you reflash the factory tune or did the dealer honor warranty?
Has anyone bought extended tune warranties? I'm kinda thinking they're not worth it if your vehicle is under factory warranty and you can reflash it to factory. Thinking of getting the SCT from Stage 3. Thanks!

Have a 02 5.4 F-150. Next few months I'd like to add cat back duals, short ram air and a programmer. Not looking to build anything crazy just my everyday driver that tows all the time so I want to make sure it is running to full potential given stock power and tranny and of course want to let the V8 sound more like a V8. Given the cost of these modifications I want to do it right the first time. Going back and forth between SCT and Edge programmer/monitor. Thoughts or experiences for what I am looking for from my truck?

I had the superchips flashpaq with cold air intake, long tube headers and true duals. It was okay but lacked any
Upgradabiliy for any further mods.
Once I went further with the mods I knew the superchips was no longer going to get the job done.
I now have the SCT x4 with custom tunes by Torrie @ Unleashed . Data logging and tweaking the tune is awesome. Torrie has revised my tune 3 times to get it dialed in. The support is outstanding !! Even if you have just minor bolt ons, this tuner would be a great upgrade .

I have the Evo CS for my F-150 SuperCew FX4 w/ 5.4L. I love it! Really easy to program and play with, and wakes my old truck up nicely! I found a used one on eBay for $170.00. Works great!

Just ordered a Hypertech Max Energy 2.0 for my 2014 F150. Running 35" tires so I'm wanting to correct my speedometer and gain some performance... Anyone running this have any recommended settings? Thanks!

Looking to get a performance chip/tuner for my 2017 F150 2.7L ecoboost and can't seem to find a tune that adds more than 68hp from Livernoise. Just curious if anyone knows a better one or is the model still too new? Obviously new downloads will come over time but I want to make sure I spend the money on the best/right tuner for my truck. Any suggestions?

After reading a few of your posts here, I'm getting the impression that there are some better programmers than the Superchips FlashPaq I'm using for increased performance applications. Anyone go from a Superchips FlashPaq to something better that they'd recommend?
