Default Tuner issues? anyone else

I just installed the basic factory programmed tune from my sct x4 in my 2013 f150 5.0,
Not sure WTH but I've used tuners in lots of vehicles in the past however never installed a tuner that caused my truck to run so rough, stall while driving, shift erratically, and blow black smoke.

They are supposed to be building a custom tune so I'm waiting for better results...

Anyone else??

Thanks

So far I've returned to stock, I think I'll wait for the email with the custom tune and see what happens

Doesnt sound like the tune loaded correctly if did that to you. ( assuming you were trying to load up a preloaded tunes from CT before getting your custom tune ) as that's not normal by any means.

I would flash it back to stock and then just try to reload one of the other preloaded tunes ( like the 91 or 93 tunes ) to see if it does the same thing as that will tell you if it was a specific tune related or not.

Or just wait for your custom tune to arrive as well is another option.

I developed a problem with my MPT 93 Race tune, MPT is working with me.
Anyway, I went back to my stock tune, then loaded my 5* 91 P/T tune. As soon as I started the engine I knew I had a problem, just didn't start right, and idled real choppy. I took off anyway, and the truck jerked around so bad, my wife who was standing in the yard, even noticed.
Put it back in the driveway, reloaded the stock tune, started it, let it idle for a minute or so, then shut it down. Reloaded the 91 tune, and all was well.
I suspect for some reason, the first try with the 91 tune, it just didn't load correctly. The second time it did.
Maybe just try reloading like I did, and how Franchi suggested, nothing to lose by trying.
