Default Trailer hitch

i found a hitch on ebay, the description says that it is for 97-03 f150s, but will not fit models with a 16-17 inch spare tire, any ideas why

if im not mistaking its a hidden hitch that you are buying.... and the reason it wont bolt on with the spare is because things are jumbled up a bit different underneith in order to let the spare mount up close to the box underneith to kind of keep that hidden to, i know they make ones that are for trucks with the spare tho

Well, bigger is better isn't it? Go for the 600/6000. You never know when something else might come along that you need to haul.
