towing with level kit
I have been thinking about getting the Bilstein level kit but I'm curious what kind effect this would have on the towing capabilities.

None! If you don't raise the rear along with the front the only "issue" is if you have a heavy load hooked up your front end will be higher than the rear. Even more so than stock because the front has been raised. If towing at night your headlights may need to be adjusted also.
