Did you clean up the cut with sand paper ?

Used my pocket knife a wee bit but they are so hidden you cannot tell.

Thanks, Beat taking it somewhere. I was surprised how quick the first one went. The hardest part was sliding in the nutplate into the frame rail and aligning the front hole. Had to wiggle it around to get in the slot at the end of the frame.

Wow, great write up! Exactly what I have been looking for! I have been searching the forums for hours literally. Question: Did you install the rubber boots inside to plug up the open area around the hooks? If not, do you feel like it is necessary? (ie. wind noise, noticeable mpg change, etc.)
