Default Tonneau covers

2016 F-150 FX4, Short box, Black with Caribou accent. What is the best tonneau cover you recommend?

what are your needs? Do you need a hard top? Or will soft top suffice? I purchased a Truxedo Roll up soft cover when I got the truck. Love it. It fits what I need it for. Protect items from the weather when needed. 80% of the time it is rolled up to the back of my truck and does not obstruct the bed at all so I can still use the bed for hauling things that stick over the top of the bed. I think it was $299 and got it installed for free (but it was easy enough to do on my own if the shop was going to charge). I highly recommend it.

Earl,

That all depends on what you are looking for. We have covers that range from simple roll up styles to the one piece designs that are very secure and weather resistant.

What are you mainly using the truck for? That is usually the first question we ask when our customers are unsure what cover to go with.

Thanks guys. I will be using the truck to haul a few things but also for travel. Not sure I want a solid top but maybe something like a flip or roll up.

I would recommend the Extang Trifecta 2.0 if you are going to be going on trips. It is a soft folding cover and designed for those long hauls. Also, when you need full bed access it takes only a few minutes to take the cover off.

Installation only takes about 10 mins the first time you do it and you will get faster with each time. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Personally I prefer rolling soft covers to folding... More versatility without having to remove the cover... Though you do have rails with the rollups vs most soft folding covers don't require rail installation. Depends on what you prefer...

Feel free to give us a call or shoot us a PM for any pricing, etc... We offer huge discounts to forum members and are happy to talk about options with you.

Luke

I am very impressed with your service and price, and the BakFlip F1 looks great. Installed last night (at least the cover part, still need to assemble the rack) in about 1.5 hours including carrying the 4 boxes around the house to the driveway and un-boxing. The channel for the rack DOES detract slightly from the look of the standard F1 setup, but adds great utility. Im also hopeful that the dog will be less inclined to lean on her forelegs on the bed-rail as the raised channel looks like it would be uncomfortable. After a year of research, this setup (BakFlip CS-F1) is hands down the best combination available.

Are you able to supply a quality bed side-step (something like the AMP) at a reasonable price? All I see on your website are long running board type steps. Looking for something to go right in front of the rear wheels.

Thanks again
