Default Superchip Tuner

Just ordered a superchip tuner for my truck and I just wanted to peep around the forum to see what kind of feedback you guys have for them.

Get a refund and get a SCT tuner from VMP or Troyer or a Gryphon from Powerhungry Performance.

No, but it is that inferior.

It is a generic product that costs almost the same a much better product that can be custom to you and your truck.

Well I don't plan on doing any major mods. I just want to get a little more out of it.

There is still a greater benefit from a custom tune. The canned ones in Superchips and others like it are just a more agressive version of the stock tune.

For the price...

you just cannot go wrong custom...most of us have only minor mods.

Yeah I hear you. I only spent $100 but I'll see what it does for me when I get it this week. After a start doing a few more mods I'll look into another tuner. I prefer doing a custom tune myself but I thought I take a a chance on the superchip since it was $300 cheaper than new. I have the hptuners for my colly
