Thats the only thing keepin me from buying one at the moment, I don't want to be stuck buying 91 all the time. You can still run 87, but if you get on it, you will predetonate in my experience.

Even if you could get a tune for 87 I imagine it would be totally counterintuitive to the SC.

If you think about it though, you're only paying a few bucks more per fill-up going to 91 octane...

Pretty much.....I filled up the other day for an even 100.00 with 93 octane. If I had put the 87 in, I would have saved a whopping 8 bucks on the tank. .30 cent more a gallon equates to about 2 cents more a mile to drive, compared to the cost to drive period, being 10x that.

And having the extra 100+ HP is well worth the 10% extra it cost me to drive it. 30% more HP for 10% cost. I like that math!!

I have the roush supercharger with intercooler and CAI. I also got a tuner and had a dyno done on it. Runs like a champ and sounds amazing. Ya it does cost a lot to run 91, but if you can drop $5000 for a supercharger with all the goodies then you can afford the extra $10 a week.

I'm thinking about supercharging my 2010 F150 with stainless headers and dual exhaust. Any recommendations on what brand? Also, live near Victoria tx and would like recommendations for installers even if it's San Antonio or Austin. Thanks.
