Stock/OEM Backup Camera Install
Hey everyone, I just finished installing a factory backup camera on my '17 F-150 XL and made a walkthrough video that might help people out in the same situation.
I have to thank everyone on this forum for their advice especially DarkHelmet who made the following written guide: ultimate-xl-oem-backup-camera-install-guide

Turn Slave Exists RVC on in the BCM (726-39-02)....then run a LIN New Module calibration under the wrench icon.
What you did only works if the truck is pre-wired back to the tailgate connector. My truck camera wire terminated at the main harness connector on the drivers side wheel well under the hood. So I had to create a custom harness to run to the back of the truck. Same idea, just a bit more work if your truck isn't prewired. Luckily my truck was wired into the truck and to the back of the FCDIM.
