Default Squealing at 1.5-2.5k rpms when given gas

I installed a K&N cold air intake on my 5.4L 2004 F150 today, and immediately after driving it I hear this squealing noise at about 2k rpms when I’m lightly giving it gas. Sounds great when I open it up at about 3k, but I really wanna know if this is a common problem or if I’m just retarded. I’ve helped buddies install cold air intakes and installed one on my old truck, but I’ve never run into this problem before. Let me know what y’all think it might be or if it is a common thing!

I had an 05 w/5.4 and an air raid intake. Did the same thing but the sound was more like after a throttle body space had been added. (Think whistle).
