Default Sliding Cargo Bed Advice??

Would like to install a 5.5 ft (LIGHTWEIGHT, maybe aluminum) Bed Slider, and would love to hear from folks that have experience with these.

Any advice, recommendations etc, will be appreciated.
Thanks

I had a bed slider on my old GMC, loved it but, I also lost about 6in of bed height. I don't have one on my F150 for that reason.

Interesting. Looks like yours might sit higher than mine in my F-350.

It very well might sit higher. Mine was a steel frame and the bed was 5/8in plywood, kind of heavy.

I have a CargoGlide in my 6.5 bed and love. I have the full extension model so it pulls all the way out to the end of the truck.

I bought a Bedslide about 15+ years ago. It was a different product back then but it was solid, had the least amount of height-loss, and the company sent me some additional bearings. I was able to drill holes in the frame and install for heavier weight/better performance. I was a fan. Reconfigured the Bedslider a couple different ways over about 8 years, once with a center rack that held bins so men could pick tools off each side when on site. We eventually cut the unit down about 8" in length to fit a different vehicle.

Just finished installing the Bedslide S. Chose it since its modular and expandable. Since I have Tonneau Retractable with Canister, I used 5.5 Bedslide in 6.5 bed. Moved it about 13 inches off of front box wall to add rails / options later if desired. Also gave me perfect sized space to carry recovery gear in front of Bedslide, underneath Canister. Fits my application like a glove with only 1/4" to spare. Color matched to my truck also. Love it.

Purchased BedSlide from TonneauFactoryOutlet.com. Great Service and Price.

Had a couple of minor issues unique to my installation. BedSlide support was VERY quick to respond to my numerous calls and were extremely helpful.....FANTASTIC!

All is Waterproof with or without Tonneau Cover. Removed Rubber Feet from cooler to gain 1/2" clearance under cover. Would "fit" with feet, but was scraping.

Recovery Gear in front of Bedslide fits PERFECTLY!
