Default Size tire

I have a 2001 F150 Supercrew 4X4 with a 5.4L. what is the biggest size tire i can go to? It is currently all stock. No lift or anything like that. Just want something bigger and that wont rub, since it is times for new tires.

I think you can fit 33"s on there. Not 100% sure though. They fit on the new bodys with not lift.

**Edit** I did a little search and this is what I found. Are you using your stock rims? If so this will work 285/70-17 (33x11.50) tires.

I have a 2001 F-150 4x4 supercrew. All my friends that have regular cab or x cab trucks all run 305/75/R17. I tried to get them on there but they rubbed so bad I decided to go with 305/75/R17 Mud Dawg mud tires. The only thing that i adjusted was the torsion bars. I turned them up. Hope this helps.

I wouldnt run the 305s. I have 305 swampers on my 01 with a 3 in lift and they barely dont rub. Before i ran 285/70/17 BFG mts stock and they work well w/o rubbing. I'd go with them if you're not planning on lifting it.
