sct turner code error 1034
Hi Guys,
Bought an SCT tuner, model 3015, for my V8 F150 and tried to install "87 Octane" to the truck. Kept getting error code 1034 before the install could be completed. I also tried to convert my truck back to stock but keep getting error code 1018 (which is where I am stuck now).
Called SCT tech support and sent the developer my tuner and my PCM. Just got it back today and they said that the tuner worked when they tried it so they just returned the PCM back to stock.
I want to try to get my PCM returned back to stock or get the 87 Octane loaded. Any ideas or help you can give me???

If your truck is less than 10 years old and you are near New Orleans I can reflash it back to as built.

Hi.
^^^ Well, you might consider the possibility....
Couple things - folks have lives. You can't expect them to drop everything just to answer you - have a little patience.
Second - yer posts themselves may be the problem:
You say:
"I want to try to get my PCM returned back to stock or get the 87 Octane loaded. Any ideas or help you can give me???"
But - before that, you stated: Just got it back today and they said that the tuner worked when they tried it so they just returned the PCM back to stock."
So - according to what you posted, yer PCM is ALREADY 'back to stock'.
How about being a little clearer here? What is it you are wanting to do?
-Is yer truck running now? (Truck details would be nice too).
-Did you ask them what those errors meant, exactly? If so post it. If not, why not?
-Did you ask them if it was okay to try it again?
-Did you try it again? Results?
See why yer not getting any responses - apart from folks working fer a living, having dinner, sex, or whatever other priorities?
Help us to help you. Clarify your post(s), provide more details ( even if you have to call them back for more info ). And PLEASE - show some patience.
As it is now, there is nothing to work with. Sorry.
good luck

Well I only charge $50 for basic programming like this, and only for forum members, a $25 savings, but I don't think you would like what I charge for mileage and hotel costs,.. LOL.. so If you find your self in my neck of the woods, shoot me a pm and I'll get you fixed up.
