Wow...I'm on stock tires and getting 16ish on the highway cruising at 70-75 and 12 around town babying it. And I'm going up to a 285/70 when it's time to replace tires.

Seriously thinking about trading in for a few reasons, mainly the payment is too high and we don't NEED a truck (especially since the wife works out of the house), but also the fuel economy is hurting (not killing) us. I don't know thought because I love the truck...sorry not trying to turn this into a "I hate my MPG's thread"...just venting a bit

Just drove from Orlando to Savannah pulling a 6x12 trailer with motorcycle plus luggage and stuff (1000 lbs in trailer, 4 persons in cab, and 300 lbs in box) and got 16 litres per 100 km (14.7 US mpg) with the trailer tune on 93 octane at 70-80 mph.

Sweger, how many miles you got? I have about 35,000 miles and it's just getting broken in.

Sweger, I have 3.31 gears and my truck has about 65k on it right now so it's good and broke in. I think I would be getting better mileage if I air my tires back up and get rid of the winter ballast. Also I noticed a big difference in mileage after switching to my K&N filter at about 50k, the old filter was caked full of mud from the roads back to camp.

I got 27k on it. I've got a K&N and keep my tires inflated at whatever the door jam sticker says. I've got 3.55's in mine...

Well, I just arrived home and logged approximately 13 US MPG from Charlotte, NC to Gravenhurst, ON (16 hrs or so) while pulling my trailer at speeds mostly ranging from 75-90 MPH. Time for me to do some normal driving and see how it does. In the meantime, I had no problems at all through the mountains and things ran very smoothly. I do have 3.55 gears, K&N with mod, and Magnaflow dual cat back exhaust. Throughout my trip to the FL Keys and back I had a wide range of fuel economy with the variable being primarily speed. Treat it nice and it works real well with great performance on tap if needed.

My 2010 5.4l is up to date and I am having the same issues some of you were. SCT told me they have the file but dont know when they will release the update. My dealer has been awesome and is helping me out. Hopefully SCT will come through with great customer service but I am skeptical.

I'm running 2 lbs under Max Cold Load on side of tire and immediately picked up 1L/100km better fuel economy. Couldn't understand why 35 psi on my door and Goodyear Wrangler 44 psi on side of tire. Have 60K on tires and only showing 35% wear. Almost 98% highway miles.

Starting to look at iTsx programmer for better power delivery when plowing air with pilot car sign. Too gutless at low RPM (1700) in high gear with sign up. Press a little pedal and I drop to 4th gear. Just want a tad more pull in high gear before forcing a downshift.

Have 5.0 with 3:55 diff.

Hey just thought I would give an update.... I'm running my 285/70/R17 Cooper Discoverer AT/3 Load Rage E's at 55 PSI and I have my iTsx performance settings set for TOW with 10% shift pressure increase, I'm getting about 20-21 MPG on the highway at 55-60 MPH but if I jump up to expressway speeds 70-75 MPH it drops to about 15 MPG. I haven't played with any other settings for the expressway as of yet, just because I love the amount of torque I'm getting with the TOW settings. (especially when you press the tow button on the shift lever and get the torque converter to engage sooner). My weekly average is generally around 17 MPG but I usually travel at about 65 MPH heading in to work. I think that my shift pressure settings may be the fault to this as it doesn't down shift soon enough when I hit an incline going over 60 MPH.

2010 XLT SCrew, 5.4L, 3.31 gears, K&N Panel filter with Gotts airbox mod

Just to update everybody SCT told me yesterday that they will be releasing a update to the iTSX either tomorrow ( 06-15-2012 ) or middle of next week so make sure to open your iTSX app, and click on Check For Updates to get latest version.
