Default Rough Country 3” lift

Has anyone heard of or have the Rough Country 3” lift? Have heard mixed reviews of the 2”-2.5” lifts due to the angles created and this seems like it might avoid that with the new UCAs included. Thoughts...??? Thanks for any and all input!

Personally many of our customers arent fans on the Rough Country. Many have been requesting BDS, Superlift, and Readylift among others. I will say that getting the replacement UCAs will help you in the long run as well because of those steeper angles created from the lift. Hope that helps, if you have any questions feel free to message us!

All that is ... is a leveling kit with new UCA's a true "Lift Kit" will come with new spindles that will correct the CV shaft and ball joint angles. You will even need a set of wheel spacers to retain OEM wheels with this kit.

Looks like it wouldn't be bad for a 2wd. The main issue with going 3" on a 2wd is the UCA angles, and it impacting the springs. I have seen a few kits that come with new UCA's to correct this.

On a 4wd, it would put other parts into odd angles. I wouldn't do it on a 4wd. For a 4wd, get a true lift kit that fixes all the angles and issues.

All jokes aside and I hate to say the old phrase buy nice or buy twice, but it can really make the difference for your vehicle in the long run! Best of luck!
