Default Fold a Cover G4 panel deforming

Hey all,

Loved my G4 Elite up till now. Installed Aug 2015. Just noticed 2 sets of impressions about 4" x 1" in the center of the last panel at tailgate. (see pic)

I submitted to Steffen, lets see what they say. BTW I have never carried anything on top of the cover and cannot be randon dents. They are too perfectly spaced. Sort of seems like an internal structure fail from heat buildup maybe?

Anyone else see this happen?

Thanks
Ken

Of course, Steffan says they have not heard of this problem and was caused by an external source. Funny but I do not recall putting anything on top of the cover.

Ages ago I was parked in my grams driveway, which has an ivy hill going up on the drivers side. Woke up the next morning to dents and scratches along my roof and top of my passenger door. Pretty certain a deer came down the ivy like they usually do, only my car was in the way.

Could have been something outside your control.

If it's a dent I could see why they wouldn't cover it under warranty. If it's the top layer of material bubbling up and there is air between it and the bottom then definitely warranty worthy.

I put a Fold a Cover on my 2007 truck and never had a problem with it for 10 years. I just bought a new F 150 and installed a new G4 Elite. You have me worried about the quality of this cover now.

Mine is doing the same thing. Heat in Florida is doing it to mine. Going to get with the
people that installed it and bitch to them. Let them deal with the manufacture.
