Default Rough Country 2.5" with 1" rear block. 2008 FX4

Going to install a rough country 2.5" level with the 1" rear block and upgraded 2.2 performance shocks tomorrow morning. I'll post some pics and give some details on the ride after its installed. I've got 20"s and BF Goodrich rugged terrain tires, 285's. I've heard mixed reviews on this kit so I'll try to address any specific questions about it if anyone is thinking about picking it up. Here's a link to the kit: http://www.roughcountry.com/ford-lev...-kit-570c.html

It looks good, but I gotta ask. Did you stack the new 1" block with the stock block?

The 1" block sits right on top of the stock block.

Here's one more picture with a good view of the whole truck. The ride isn't noticeably rougher with the performance shock. I've driven about 40 miles today with the kit on and I'm pretty happy with it.

I don't know if this is your first crack at a level/lift but NEVER stack blocks

KCCOFox thanks for the heads up, I know the horror stories that come from stacking blocks. Broken blocks, axle warping, etc. This usually happens with larger blocks and blocks without locating pins. These blocks are small and have locating pins, as long as the U-Bolts are tight there should be no problems. The stresses needed to break that setup are far outside the operating conditions. If I notice any issues when I'm under my truck I'll be sure to warn others about this kit. This is my second crack at a level/lift kit, my profession is mechanical engineering.
