Wow! I think that's perfect proof of it's the installer that matters most!

My installer spent HOURS scuffing and prepping the bed to ensure adhesion. It's safe to say that zero prep work was done on that liner in the video.

As you said also, the person spraying controls the thickness.

Combining what you said and what I, and others, have said, in a perfect world you find a LineX dealer with excellent work/reputation, pick the Platinum level, and enjoy your nice liner.

My first liner was a LineX in 2005. I'm sure they have improved, but it faded and wasn't very strong. My current Bullet liner is brand new, but is certainly starting off life looking better than my 2005 liner ever did. I'm sure they have all improved.

The bedliner in the vid is the Ford factory bedliner. It only has a chemical prep, that's it.

Having the dealer involved and them being responsible for the installation is not a bad idea. Having it done and ready to go upon delivery gives you the chance to inspect and have any imperfections taken care before signing the paperwork. Nothing wrong with saving a $100 either if they are indeed passing it on to you for their cost. Also saves you at least a day of your own time hassling over having it done.

Be sure and post some pics and your thoughts.
The Rhino liner dealer that the dealership uses only sprays the Hybrid liner. It seems most the the people commenting on Rhino had the old TuffGrip liner. The Hybrid is more like the Line-X except thicker. A relatively new formula.

I will post picks when I get it done. That is in 8-10 weeks when the truck gets here.

Do you have any pics? I'd love to see it.

Actually, Rhino Hybrid is not new and there are several Rhino Hybrid products, none are aliphatic. Hybrid is not thicker. Any bedliner product from any bedliner company can be sprayed at any thickness. So, if they told you that, they are pulling your leg. Seems like every company wants to be like LINE-X!

I have the technical data sheets for most Rhino products, but I don't have them where I'm at now but I'll take a look at them on Monday.

That would be great. Keep me posted. I'm still not 100% sold on the Rhino. It's what the dealership uses and I'm getting it at the dealership cost. But, I'd like to hear about the TDS sheet if you have access to it.

Here's the information:
Rhino Hybrid 21-55, tear strength 315 psi.
Rhino Hybrid 21-55-120, tear strength 225 psi.
Rhino Hybrid 11-150, tear strength 375 psi.

You might want to compare those numbers to the numbers in post #10. And just to be clear, the higher the number, the better.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that none the technical data sheets say that they are aliphatic (resists fading), so they must be aromatic (will fade) by default.

Had a Rhino liner sprayed today.
The reason why I chose them(this time) is because the local Line-x didn't respond to my email, and these guys did.
They did a good job, just like every other liner I've had sprayed on my trucks(Line-x and Rhino) for the past 20 years or so.
Since I don't have any plans to drop cinder blocks in my bed from 10 feet up( I just have a habit of chucking 100lbs rifle cases in it), it will last, just like all the other times. This time around however, I also have a rubber mat and a plastic gate protector installed over the top of it because since I knew it was gonna be a little while before I had the time to give up my truck for half a day to have it done, I bought the mat and gate shield to tide me over)
Since I installed a solid cover afterwards, chances are that it won't fade in its lifetime, and as long as I don't spill any harsh chems on it, it won't stain-just like all the others.
