New here, so apologies if I've missed a post that talks about this or if there's anything wrong about the format/location of the post. A number of Google searches didn't return exactly what I was looking for. I have a 2010 FX4, and was looking at replacing the side mirrors.

Based on some videos, seems easy enough to do it, but I noticed a decent number of the replacement parts had puddle lights. If I didn't have them on my original mirrors, is there any way to set them up to work without doing any electrical work? Also, any suggestions for great value replacements would be great, looking at tow mirrors with heating, no auto-dim, and blinker lights on the bottom and back of the mirror housing.
