Got mine today! I bought this off of a forum member so didn't really get choice of finish. It is gloss black, but prefer the matte black look. Thinking spraying with plastidip at first, but may spray with matte black paint. Any thoughts?

What color is your truck?

Nevermind, just read your post. You should just plasti-dip it first in matte black and see if you like it but i think the gloss finish looks great!

Deff not going to paint it. Not at first anyways. If anything I'll hit it with plastidip and be done with it. Being a grill that's already black, it won't even be that noticeable. Just something to tone down the gloss.

Got mine on today. Took longer than expected. I was able to remove old grille with breaking any of the tabs.

Hey cjcoates23, is that on Sterling Grey? If so, can you post another pic with better light. Is the grill all Matt black?

Thanks!

I got mine installed last night and it looks AWESOME. I thought I'd be able to use the Raptor LED light kit from Recon, but the bracket doesn't line up with the Raptoid grille. I'm going to try and fabricate something and make it fit so I don't have to buy another one.
