SHELBY!!! I tow a drift car & sometimes race truck on my 5100's and feel much better with them then I did the stock ones. Have not owned Ranchos although I have ridden on them a lot.

Yep, measure the difference the way described and lets see what you need

I also do the floor jack trick, I measure - jack to where I want the height, and remeasure.

Is it recommended to get a complete set front and back or is there not much of a difference?

We can only recommend it. The Valving in the shocks will increase and make it more stable around turns, braking, towing etc. You'll def. feel the difference if you start off with the fronts. It will make you want the rears right away. We packaged them as a set, Also don't forget to take advantage of the SHOCKTOBER Fest. Buy 3 get 1 free. How could you pass up a deal like this???

i bought the fronts for now but im buying the rears in about 1 week. the ride should be awesome!! i have a 2wd supercab with a 5.0. i had a 2 1/4" difference between front and rear of truck. mine are set at 2nd setting from top (1.95"). truck sits perfectly level. hope this helps you. i definately recommend the bilsteins.

Oh sweet! Drift car and race truck!

Okay..sounds like the Bilstein might be better for me..even though I kind of like the Rancho adjustability and the availability of a remote.
