I have a 2010 5.4 with 3 inch exhaust cat back Magnaflow out to a single pipe by the back right tire good low Rumble when the RPMs are low and when you step on it even better definitely sounds loud but not too loud if you're going for a louder sound I would suggest putting a cold air intake on mainly for sound but if you do so make sure you unplug your car battery and run through the rebooting reprogram cycle on your truck so that it can calibrate the difference I also have a tuner it is programmed do with it so that helps a lot you definitely won't be disappointed I feel the Flowmaster is just too lot of aggressive sound especially with kids and a wife

I have a '14 5.0 and put a Borla ATAK on it. I'm a Borla fan for life now. They're pricey... but very high quality exhausts with, according to my taste in exhausts, the best tone and sound. Still looks brand new, and I've had it on for a year.

I have had Borla, Gibson, Corsa, and Magnaflow systems over the years. Had a Corsa system on my 2013 5.0 F150. Liked it a lot. On my 2015 5.0 F150, went with Magnaflow's 19080 dual tip behind the rear passenger wheel. Really, really like the Magnaflow. Great purr at idle. Nice tone on normal acceleration, and on wide open throttle it really wakes up. There is absolutely no drone with either the Corsa or the Magnaflow. Much prefer the Magnaflow though over the Corsa, but that's just my opinion. Can't go wrong with either.
