Airaid manufactures roush intakes so they are exactly the same but id rather my truck say roush than airaid since as the other guy stated roush and ford go hand in hand

I ripped off the ugly Airaid logo and had something custom made for mine...

I have an SCT with 5star tunes. I initially tried an Edge but couldn't get it to work with my truck. The people at Edge said there was a known issue with the 5.0 trucks and some kind of electronics with the individual keys you can set up with them. They wanted me to send it back so they could try and put a patch on it to work. I returned it and went with the SCT. The SCT has a lot more custom tuners out there than the Edge so you'll have a lot more choices.

I like the AirRaid/Rousch as well, but what about Volant? Looks like a very well engineered product, especially the fit and finish. How do they stack up?

Ran across this interesting piece of information this morning...
So, apparently Edge is having legal disputes with the EPA due to their products violating emissions standards for certain states. Because of this they're discontinuing production on all programmers and even buying them back from customers dealing with this problem first hand.
I'm assuming they will not be the only manufacturer to get grief about this and it will only be a matter of time before all programmers will be obsolete. This could potentially result a downfall of custom tune shops also (PHP, Five Star, Livernois, etc.).
If anyone has been debating on when, or whether or not to get one, now is probably the best time since they probably won't supply vendors with anymore of their products... at least for you guys without emissions testing in your state otherwise sorry. Granted, for emissions testing you could always flash your vehicle back to stock, but who's to say that they still can't see you have tuned before and give you **** for it.
If you already have a programmer, keep that **** and don't let it go. Also, don't forget to thank our Prius driving, tree hugging, butt hugging government and mass population for ruining a good thing.

This only applies to the diesel trucks. They got in trouble because of the way you could program the truck to smoke excessively by dumping in extra fuel to the engine.
It doesn't apply to us as F-150 owners.

Yep, that's marked specifically to dpf delete tuning on the diesels, usually the 6.4 and 6.7. Which is why you can't buy them new anymore for those engines, only used. Once edge got smacked with the lawsuit, most tuning companies stopped making the dpf delete tuners including SCT
