Default problem finding factory amp

I have a 99f150 xlt extended cab 4.2.
I removed the factory radio to install HU alpine and i found two, connections to the factory radio and connectors have been cut off and, wired.
Does anyone know where the factory ampifier is located.
And does the factory amp wires need to be connected to the new HU.
If so what are the wiring color ID from the amp to the new radio.
I tried with only the connections to the speakers and the power wire to,
the ignition and the constant wire to hot all the time and allumination, wired to allumination cluster wire.
I had allumination and control of settings but know sound.
I wire the hot wire to the battery and every thing worked great.
But when i put my ignition in start and run the allumination and control, settings worked, but the sound went out after starting my truck.
I have been trying to figure this out for two weeks.

you dont have a factory amp, you just wired the headunit incorrectly.
