Default Pro Comp 6 Inch kit

Just wondering if anyone has installed this kit on a 2012 FX4? I believe the part # K4143B. The reason I am asking is because I want to run snow tires on mine for the winter, and my dealership has told me that I can only run a 20 inch rim with this kit? On the Pro Comp site it states 18-20 rim with back spacing 4.5-5.5. If anyone has the installation kit manual I could really use a copy also. It must state rim size in there somewhere.

A lot of people have, try the search bar and you'll see endless results. As a matter of fact I even think there is an entire thread dedicated to what you're looking for.

any lift (4 or 6") on the 2009-Current model F150's need to run at least an 18" rim with said backspacing to clear the new upper control arm and tie rods. The stock 17's and 18's won't work (not enough backspacing to clear the tie rod) the stock 20's will clear, but the wider tires could cause clearance issues. It's always recommended to test fit your wheels for clearance before mounting tires to them.

Thanks for the info. I am going to run my dick cepek rims on hankook l pike snow tires for the winter. Come summer l will then buy new rims for my mickey thompson tires. I know it seems like a big investment, but l do love my truck and want to protect it this winter and tires would help me do this. I go to the dealership today to have them swap, while there l will ask for a stock 20 inch tire combo as a spare since the original 18 will not.
