Just put an edge evolution programmer on my truck. Put it on tow mode, running 89 octane with intake and exhaust. While pulling to a race this past weekend was hearing a weird noise under a load when I got into it. Engine was not screaming or anything, just runnning at 2000-3500 RPM and heard this weird noise. It went away when I got off the throttle or it shifted into a different gear dropping RPM. I didnt like it so I pulled off and shut the programmer off, and contued home. Was my motor pinging? Anyone had this problem before? What do I do?
