Peragon Truck Bed Cover Group Buy
Thought I'd check this before I hit the hay.
Thanks Heath for all of the good deals. I'm sure I speak for most of us in saying that we enjoyed your company on here, your company, Peragon, as well. Still loving my Peragon cover. It worked great on the highway yesterday. I have some mod ideas dealing with a wheelchair and some duct tape. I'll let you know how it turns out. My want to watch Mythbusters in the future.... or is that Jackass? Anyhow, it's been great.

You're more than welcome! It has been an adventure and turned out to be a great opportunity to learn along the way. I've enjoyed getting to know everyone on here! Please keep me posted on your engineering progress.
Congratulations on the new truck! To avoid one straggler turning into many stragglers
we can't offer the same discount we did for the group buy, but our sales staff will still take good care of you. Please contact us by email or phone.
Heath, I've been way busy getting ready for a discrete math exam. Your welcome to help. That's why I haven't switched out the covers yet. But I'll do that this weekend. I assume you want me to contact your guys, Sales to make arrangements to pick it up? Exam tomorrow... Yikes... anyone remember how to prove? Talk about rusty.

I'll stick to truck bed covers and leave the math exams to you.

No rush on the cover exchange. Yes, just contact Sales when the original one is back in the box and they'll schedule the pick up.
Have fun prepping for the exam!
Just finished the install and maybe Heath or one of the other guys who have gotten their Peragon can help. Install was pretty straight forward and I didn't run into any difficulties. My initial impressions are very good. Seems like a quality product, but obviously only time will tell.
On to some of my small concerns:
1. I actually had to go to the hardware store to get more 'spacer' washers. The 40 were not enough. I needed 13 at each front mounting point and 9 at each rear point. Plus the washers next to the nut = 48. Also, I think the stacked washers look a little 'ghetto'. I'll probably get a small diameter pipe and cut it to size to use a single spacer. No biggie, but for $500+ I wish it was a little cleaner solution then piling up a bunch of washers. I realize that everyone may have slightly different mounting points so creating spacers could be difficult.
2. The weather stripping that has the 3M tape that goes under the 'cross rail' at the front of the bed wouldn't stick for some reason. About 2/3 sticked fine, the remaining 1/3 is falling off. Any suggestions? Yes, I cleaned the rail with alcohol and waited for it to dry.
3. The bigger problem and the one that has me the most concerned. My lock won't lock unless I crawl under the cover and push up on the front two panels. The bar that extends to passenger side gets hung up on the lower part of the bed rail track. Suggestions? I cannot extend the adjuster bolt any further otherwise my cover will scrape the bed rail. The cover rolls perfect within the tracks and I've double checked everything for squareness & parallel so I know that is not the problem. Please help with this one, because if I have to crawl under there for the next 6-7 years just to lock the cover I will not be a happy Peragon owner.
All that said, overall my first impressions are I will be happy with this cover. I just really need to figure out why my lock bar is getting hung up on the passenger side.
It's dark out now so I'll try to take some pics for posting tomorrow.
