I am probably going to be jumping on board buying one. Question though, I go to the beach often, and am looking for a cover that I can put single person kayak on top of, would there be any issue hauling a kayak on the cover, or maybe a bicycle laying on its side. Neither item is much weight and if this cover can handle the items I will put an order in (when wife gives approval).

Also their youtube channel is helpful if you want to get walked through the install process http://www.youtube.com/user/peragone.../1/uPoVWqARbbE

I have a Ruged Liner in my truck bed. The driver's side verticle section of the liner does allow the rail cap on that side to sit perfectly flat on the top of the rail, toward the cab end.

What kind of a problem will this create for me? Will the verticle section of the liner need to be cut in order to allow the rail cap to sit flat? Is it going to be a roadblock to installing a Peragon?

I meant to say it does not allow the rail cap to sit perfectly. Sorry

frunko1 -

The Peragon truck bed cover is robust enough to support a static (parked) load of 100 pounds distributed per panel or an overall distributed load of 500 pounds. So if your truck is parked outside in a snowstorm, no worries. However, we don't recommend hauling cargo on the cover.

If we promoted the ability to haul cargo on the cover with a load rating of X, someone would haul 3X on it. This is a minefield we've chosen to avoid.

Ok I will try it out, and if I need to I will figure out how to add support bracing. Just need the wife's approval and will be good to go. Do you have any window stickers you include with the purchase?

I doubt this would be a roadblock, but to make sure, could you post a couple pictures showing what you are describing? Worst case, I think your idea to notch that front section of the liner would eliminate the issue.

Thanks Heath. I'll try to do that. Never posted a pic as a part of an email in here before but I'll give it a shot.

That sounds like a great approach. I have seen customers do some pretty creative things to accommodate their individual needs.

We have a few window stickers available, but we don't include them with every cover - yet! We are considering doing that. If you'd like one, please put that request in your order comments and we'll be sure to get one to you.

If anyone else reading this would like a window sticker, please email us using the link at the bottom of our web site and we'll be happy to drop one in the mail to you.
