Opinions Wanted on AUX Bed Fuel Tank

This is kind of a repetitive thread but not exactly.

Am thinking about adding bed mounted AUX Tank. This means a tank that will pump gas into the factory tank filler tube. I would love to hear about others experiences with this sort of set-up. Have my eye on this tank....

Thanks much for any advice etc.

I have been thinking about getting one of these as well. A friend is selling his tank because he's getting a bigger one. He uses it for hurricane relief supply runs. I want it to be able to evacuate and return without needing to stop for gas. Big problem a lot of people had after Irma came through was being able to get home. The area they evacuated to had gas, but the areas they had to travel through to get home did not. I made it back and forth using 5 gallon gas cans, but want a better and safer option.

i used to have one on my 95 that I would use on longer off road trails. Some of the trails we went to were pretty far into the desert and away from easy refueling. You brought gas or you didn't go.

A lot of the guys I know that run 4 wheelers and side by sides use these tanks to refill the toys in the field.

For the price on those, I'd go bigger. But what is your use going to be for the tank?

Mainly, I want to go longer without filling up. I have been spoiled by the 50 gal on my 350.
Also, I want to have the 30-40 gal for emergencies like you described. (generators, etc.)

The one I referenced above is the only one that holds 30+, feeds into the oem tank, takes up 12" or less of bed space, and sits below the bed rails so I can install a Tonneau cover.............so far.

With 36 gal OEM tank, have decided against adding another
