Default Oil Separator on '19 3.5 Eco No Longer Beneficial?

Salesman told me that Ford has made some improvement to the '19 3.5 Eco so that an oil separator is no longer of any benefit. Does anyone know anything about this?
Thanks

I don't know. I am new to F-150. Research shows that oil separator is just about the number one recommended aftermarket for the 3.5 Eco engine....at least until 2018.

I'd say possibly none needed it? Your engine is DI/PI, which should clean off the intake valves... Some folks think "Catch Cans" are snake oil... I don't have one and have not looked at my intake valves, but she's running strong with 19K on the odometer. YMMD.

Catch can threads have been hashed thru rather heavily sometimes contentiously. A search will bring up lots of info. They do more than just help prevent valve deposits but that is what discussions center on mostly. Enoc gave the reasoning as to DI-PI injection changes. KM
