Thank you for posting your experience. I was about to pull the trigger on a pricy nfab bumper bar. No thank you, only quality for my truck.

Well they finally set me a new set. Only took a year of me harassing them for fun. Bottom line:

Tha bars I had were absolute garbage and anybody with a rusty set should contact NFab.
They did replace the defective bars without me sending the old ones back.
They would only send new bars and would not just give me credit towards something else. Unfortunately, I don't need them so gave them to my nefew for his 2014. Doesn't really help me but he's happy.

The new ones are aluminum so we will see how they hold up.

Glad I was able to help so many people.

They sent the new set and I gave them to my nefew. He hasn't installed them yet but when he does I'll add a pic.

Just read this whole thread, cover to cover.

In today's day and age of social media, manufacturers and retailers really need to 'step up' (no pun on the bars intended). The shaming on social media and sites like this can crucify them!

I also don't think we expect garbage products or products that won't last. I work hard for my money and can't afford to be replacing crap products I've bought - this is likely why I end up spending an inordinate amount of time doing research.

I'm glad that in the end, they've made it right, but just think of the damage that's been done - someone at Nfab should have rectified this right away, rather than wait for 20,000 +/- potential customer page views...

Crazy!

Ellford, first I have to thank you for reading the entire thread. Second, I agree someone should have made this right a year ans 37000 views ago. I'm not sure they could ever really make it right. They did eventually send me a new set but at this point I didn't need them. I'm more than happy with the Westin ones I have on now. If I didn't happen to have a nefew that could use the new ones I would have had to try and sell them for half of what they cost.
Funny thing, my goal when I started was never to get a new set. I posted for the sole purpose of keeping people from spending their hard earned money on crap. I believe I have accomplished that. And I made my nefews day.

As requested, my experience with these remain good..I think ~ 18 mos into them. Albeit I am in Florida, and not subjected to salted roads up north.
