Flowmaster will be louder than the magnaflow, I went with magnaflow as the guy told me it will be better performance wise.

cut off the muffler, and run 3 in pipe from the cat back, and dump it before the rear tires....that is as loud as you are going to get it without putting in high flow cats.

i think you can get them from dynomax... they should have a deep loud tone.

They should be about 30 bucks for each one

no, but that will be the loudest with the stock cats. true duals with high flow cats will sound very nice. but if you go with high flow cats, you are going to want some sort of muffler or at least some glasspacks for some backpreasure.

im wondering what option is going to be my best bet,
1. putting str8 pipes after the stock cats no muffler

2. str8 pipes with highflow cats and no muffler

3. true duals H setup into one flowmaster no cats.

so many choices its hard to decide anyone with any info on performance, cost and sound to these three options? any advice is highly appreciated. also whats the difference with a muffler and a glass pack?

i have a 04 4.6 xlt and i just put a flowmaster 40sr on it and made it exit in front of the rear wheel like a lightning but with 1 pipe for now
at first i just had a muffler and with the really big loss of back pressure and drone i decided to put a pipe on it its just a 4.5ft pipe with a 90 in it and i have a lot more low end.
