Default New Exhaust

I have a Flowmaster exhaust on my truck. When I get on the gas I think it screams, and when idling I can barely hear it (other people say it sounds good). I am looking for something with more of a growl or rumble when idling and accelerating. I would like to know what exhaust people have or have heard that sounds good.

If you want louder get straight pipes or glasspacks..... if you want a muffler get the flowmaster 10 series.

keep what you have, and replace the four cats with two high-flow cats

it will sound MUCH better

Thumbs up SS Borla

I have a SS Borla cat back system on my truck and I would say it has the same sound example as you gave. It has a nice deep throat pitch at an idle and boy does it scream when you get on it

That sounds good I put SI/DO Flow Masters on my 02 and wasn't happy with the sound. Sounded good at full throttle but it was to quite at ideal for me.

the only way to get your truck loud, (like a 4.6 mustang) is to remove all 4 cats. Go with a mac flow muffler, or magna flow for best sound. If you decide on flomasters go with a 40 series.
