Just bought a ext cab 2008 F150 4.6l with stx package.Looking for performance headers,exhaust,cold air intake and programmer.I've pretty much decided on Magnaflow for the exhaust but having trouble deciding on the rest.Any suggestions ? I wanna stay street legal.

 

EDGE has a great programmer for that truck that has a heads up display. not cheap though. as for headers you might try JBA, and I say that with clenched teeth because I hate JBA but they might be the only ones that have anything worth while. Airaid intakes fit pretty well on those trucks and sound mean as well, performance wise there is throttle response thats about it. Pretty much the only thing I wouldn't do is the TBS, cuz they whistle like a mother, and I'm not convinced they do anything more than that haha

 

Thanks and yeah I'm with you on the TBS had one on my 98 F150 years ago.The whistling was annoying and really didnt notice enough boost to warrant listening to it.
