Need help with Solid Fold 2.0 leaking
#11
I recently put a Solid Fold 2.0 on my F150, and finally got to see how it held up this weekend when we got a good rain for a couple days. I was pretty disappointed with the results. I emailed Extang with the pictures, and after several emails being exchanged, along with a request to run hose water over it, I was told it was within tolerance and not a problem. Does anyone else's leak this bad? Looks like it's coming in where the strap's bracket is screwed in.
Unfortunately I threw the box away, so it might be too late to exchange for an MX4

That one looks messed up. It shouldn't sit like that. You could contact extang and see what they say. Most parts with these seem replaceable.
Mine now leaks through where the pull attachment is at the bed side. I'm not worried about it, I mostly like the cover to keep the leaves out and to avoid wood getting wet or having to strap some things down.

As the last member posted, it definitely should not be sitting up angled like that. I would have it reinstalled to see if that makes a difference. I have worked with the Solid Fold 2.0 over the last couple of years and usually have no issues. In fact, one of my family members has had one on their truck for a while now and not experienced any issues.
