Canned tune on the SCT makes good use of the gears--pulls nice compared with stock that wants to upshift to 6th during WOT.

Looking forward to seeing my new tunes and testing 2 of them out.

I got my custom tunes from MPT last week. Biggest reason I got the tuner was because the stock shift points stink. So when I got the tuner all I requested were 87 oct tunes for all 3.
Well, you guys made me want to try the perf tune. Even though it's only 87 oct all I can say is holy crap!

I would check your version on your tune. The latest version is 10. It is totally different than what you have.

Just found this tread, LOVE THESE GUYS!!.. I've had my tuner/tunes for almost a year. When i first ordered my set-up the tunes didn't arrive in the scheduled time. Made a phone call, the guy that answered the phone was nice and stayed on the line while i put in my info, it still didn't work so her personally put it all in and made it a rush priority. A few days later i emailed them that i had bit off more then i could chew with my shift point (roughness) they guys sent me 3 new toned down ones for nothing. I proudly were my MPT sticker on the back of my truck.

Wow! The throttle response is lightning quick with the 87 performance street tune. I spun the rear tires leaving my neighborhood all by accident.

When I run this tank of gas down, I'll fill up to 93 and load the 93 performance racing tune . I think I might need an open road for testing!

5 and a half seconds is fast for tune only. Mpt obviously takes a lot of pride in their tunes and customer service. It's been awhile since I had a tune update from them, I guess I need to give them a email and get on board. Personally I have always liked their tunes since the first one I got which was about a year ago, their commitment to make the tune right if there is problems is great and power has never been a issue when it comes to their tunes for me and I've only used the 91 tow tune, not a performance one.
